“Interaction” is a digital piece that depicts animated video interactions between oblivious individuals walking past each other in a public space. This piece is part Voyeurism and part Imagined Human Interaction. I recorded people walking around below me from a second floor window, carefully selecting the parts of footage I wanted to include. I then animated, frame by frame, a simple “line” interaction between the anonymous individuals. The result is humorous and delightful, insinuating fanciful relationships between complete strangers. This work is located between the Lee Drain and Farrington Buildings on the campus of Sam Houston State University.
